A regular performer around local venues, Colin's banjo- and guitar-based songwriting pulls from the various types of roots music in the Americana tent, from Appalachian old-time to acoustic folk to electric blues and roots rock.
This year has seen him taking his performances further afield, with appearances at Georgia College and State University, Brooklyn’s Jalopy Theatre, and the Martha Bassett Show, besides local performances at Greensboro Bound, Stokes County Arts Council, and the N.C. Folk Festival.
He is also the recipient of an ArtsGreensboro grant for his upcoming album, Tarwater. A collection of songs based on Flannery O’Connor’s short stories, it's due out next year. Read more and find listening links and his upcoming schedule at colincutlermusic.com.
