Shana Scudder teaches first-year writing and serves as a writing tutor in the Learning and Writing center at Guilford College. Shana is an MFA candidate at Randolph College. Shana is also involved with Guilford's Wiser Justice program and has been since its inception. Her first monograph, Performance and Agency in Women's Ballet: Countering the Rhetoric of Perfection, is forthcoming from Lexington Books. In her spare time, she can be found seeking out a good cup of tea and the biggest, most beautiful trees in the Triangle area where she lives.
