Sara Pilling is an instructor in the Experience Design program at Guilford College.

As an academic turned practitioner, Sara has had the privilege to incorporate theory and knowledge into experience in the entrepreneurial, consulting, project management, and government sectors. The consistent theme between these worlds (and all disciplines) is the effectiveness of experience design, understanding how a human-centered approach to product development, process improvement and solving problems can create more efficient, effective, and informed experience for those involved. 

Sara teaches XD220 which provides the fundamental elements of experience design, in which students form an understanding of theory and concepts, but also how these are applied to real life experiences and examples.
