Guilford College Early Bridge offers incoming freshmen an immersive, three-week residential experience where they can get a head start on college by earning credits before their first semester even begins. Live and learn in the vibrant city of Greensboro, N.C., while connecting with a diverse community of students from all over the country. This highly selective program offers a one-of-a-kind curriculum that blends hands-on learning with a strong focus on community building. In Summer 2025, Bridge will explore the themes of 'Navigating Global Challenges and Ethical Frontiers.' Through dynamic courses led by esteemed Guilford College faculty, Bridge will introduce you to:
- Global Challenges and Governance
- Humanitarian Affairs and Migration
- Peace Studies
- Contemporary Ethics
- Ethics of AI, Social Media, and Privacy

The program fee includes all fees for off-campus activities, on-campus lodging, and all meals during the three weeks, some in the Dining Hall and some off campus.

Would my student be able to leave during holidays or celebrations?
Students can leave for the Fourth of July holiday with permission from staff.
Will my student be able to bring their car on campus?
Bridge students can bring their car on campus if they are 18 during the program.
Do the participants have to share rooms?
Students have the option of sharing a room or living in a single room.
