New season subscriptions and Legacy Society memberships for Guilford College’s 2024-25 Bryan Series season will be on sale Friday, July 19. The highly anticipated Bryan Series has a proud tradition of bringing world-renowned speakers, thought leaders and performers to Greensboro. This year’s programs promise to continue that tradition.

A pair of actor-activists are featured this season: LeVar Burton Tuesday, Oct. 24, and Ashley Judd Tuesday, April 8, at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts. LeVar is a literacy advocate, iconic television actor and longtime host of “Reading Rainbow.” Ashley is a television and feature-film actress and global humanitarian.

LaToya Marsh, Director of the Bryan Series, says subscriptions and memberships ensure attendees the best seats before single-event sales open in September. Legacy Society memberships  offer exclusive benefits, including priority seating and opportunities to meet LeVar and Ashley before their talks.

“We are incredibly excited about this upcoming season,” says LaToya. “We’ve worked diligently to curate a lineup that not only entertains but also educates and inspires. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning members to what promises to be a memorable season.”

Date and Time: Sales begin on Friday, July 19, at 10 am.

Launched in 2006, the Bryan Series is the longest-running and best-known subscription lecture series in North Carolina. The series exposes Guilford students and the broader community to inspiring ideas, courageous leadership and models of civic engagement and discourse.
