Ann Flynt currently serves as the Director of the Eastern Triad Workforce Initiative (ETWI) and Guilford Apprenticeship Partners (GAP) at the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro (CFGG). She coordinates and oversees workforce efforts with the Eastern Triad Workforce Initiative in the 4 county regions of Guilford, Alamance, Randolph, and Rockingham in North Carolina to strengthen the talent pipeline in the area. She also runs GAP, a highly successful youth apprenticeship program in Guilford County that recruits motivated high school juniors and seniors for highly skilled and highly paid careers.

Prior to her role at the Community Foundation, Flynt was an educator for over twenty years. Her education roles included teaching preschool at Holy Trinity Day School, teaching at the elementary level at Greensboro Day School, and serving as principal of St. Pius X Catholic School.
Flynt holds a master’s degree from UNC-Greensboro in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations, a teaching license from Greensboro College, and a bachelor’s degree in Business from Wake Forest University. She lives in Summerfield with her husband Chip, who is a teacher for the Guilford County School system. Ann and Chip have two grown children who were raised in Greensboro, NC. Ann loves North Carolina, her adopted state, and has lived in Guilford County for over 30 years.
