Mandatory campus-wide testing after Fall Break
With no classes being held Monday and Tuesday next week for Fall Break, there will be campus-wide PCR testing for Covid after Fall Break on Wednesday, Oct. 27, and Friday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. in the Carnegie Room of Hege Library. It is mandatory for all students, faculty, and staff (no matter your vaccination status) to test one of those days. Please pre-register at starmed.care. If you are not able to attend either one of these dates, you can be PCR tested at an off-campus site and submit the result to covidscreening@guilford.edu.
Update on vaccine mandate
Friday, Oct. 15, was the deadline for all faculty, staff, and students to submit proof of their vaccination. Students who do not meet the mandate requirements (either by being vaccinated, obtaining an exemption, or transitioning their schedule to remote instruction only) will hear from the Division of Student Affairs to begin the process of unenrolling. Faculty and staff who do not meet the mandate requirements will hear from Human Resources to begin the process of separating from the College.
If you did not receive a medical or religious exemption and you still need to upload your proof of vaccination, please use the following links:

Testing Results for the Week of Oct. 18, 2021
We continue to hold weekly testing clinics for those who are not vaccinated as well as for anyone who would like to be tested. We did not have any positive test results from the 110 tests that were administered this week. Keep up the good work!
The Health and Safety Task Force continues to meet weekly to discuss questions about holding in-person events indoors, especially those where members of the greater Greensboro community might be in attendance, and to provide clarification on our Activity Matrix. If you have a question for the committee, please send it to taskforce@guilford.edu.
Thank you for continuing to follow the three W’s by wearing a mask, waiting 3 to 6 feet apart, and washing your hands or using hand sanitizer frequently.
Sincerely,
Health and Safety Task Force
