Understand the power of data and accelerate your career.

What is data analytics? It’s a rapidly growing field with an abundance of employment opportunities. Data analysts use a broad range of techniques in a variety of industries and government agencies to predict future outcomes based on historical data.

Professionals with expertise in analytics and data science are particularly in high demand because they support decision-makers, including company leadership, by turning data into invaluable business insights. For example, analysts often review data and use it to improve websites, boost profits, and learn how to better engage with customers.

Career possibilities are growing exponentially. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics:

  • Data scientist and mathematical science occupations are ranked 11th on the list of fastest-growing occupations through 2029.

  • Employment of data analysts, specifically mathematicians and statisticians, is projected to grow 33 percent through 2029, much faster than the average for all occupations.

  • Demand for operations research analysts is expected to grow 25 percent, and market research analyst jobs are projected to grow 18 percent.
