Guilford is looking for crafters for May craft fair

Quaker Makers is looking for crafters to take part in the College's first Quaker Makers Craft Fair. The event will be held in the Quad on Saturday, May 3.

Guilford College will host the first Quaker Makers craft fair on Saturday, May 3, from 10 am to 4 pm on the scenic Quad. The event will serve as a College fundraiser and a community celebration of creativity, offering a vibrant space for artists, makers, and crafters to showcase and sell their handmade goods.

Vendors can reserve 10 x 10 booth spaces to display and sell their crafts. To ensure a diverse and high-quality selection, all items must be approved by the College coordinating group before a booth can be reserved.

The cost to participate is $10 for current Guilford students, staff and faculty, and $20 for external vendors, including businesses, organizations and community members. All applications submitted before April 25 will receive priority consideration.

After submitting an application, participants can expect a follow-up email detailing payment instructions and booth placement. Once payment is confirmed, vendors will receive a detailed map highlighting unloading zones, booth locations and parking information.

Don't miss this chance to support Guilford College and shop local. Whether you're a vendor or a visitor, Quaker Makers craft fair promises a day full of creativity, community and connection.
