Single-event tickets for the 2024-25 Guilford College Bryan Series season will go on sale Friday, Sept. 6.
A pair of actor-activists are featured in the 20th subscription season: LeVar Burton Thursday, Oct. 24, and Ashley Judd Tuesday, April 8, at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts. LeVar is a literacy advocate, iconic television actor and longtime host of “Reading Rainbow.” Ashley is a television and feature-film actress and global humanitarian.
LaToya Marsh, Director of the Bryan Series, says Bryan Series fans who are unable to attend both programs this year can take advantage of the single-event option. “There are still great seats for two remarkable events,” says LaToya.
Season subscriptions and Legacy Society memberships are also available, too, until the October event, says LaToya. Legacy Society memberships offer exclusive benefits, including priority seating and opportunities to meet LeVar and Ashley before their programs.
“We are incredibly excited about this upcoming season,” says LaToya. “We’ve worked diligently to curate a lineup that not only entertains but also educates and inspires. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning patrons to what promises to be a memorable season.”
The Bryan Series is the longest-running and best-known subscription lecture series in North Carolina. The series exposes Guilford students, faculty and staff and the broader community to inspiring ideas, courageous leadership and models of civic engagement and discourse.
