On February 1, Timothy Kircher, H. Curt ’56 and Patricia S. ’57 Hege Professor of History, spoke with a gathering of Duke faculty and students about his new research project, "Writing Letters in the Renaissance: Humanist Care and Culture," to Duke faculty and students. Earlier that day, he taught a session of Prof. John Martin's course, "Early Modern Europe," and discussed with students the theme of Renaissance humanism.
