Associate Professor of History Zhihong Chen gave an invited lecture on “Muslims in China: History, Indigenization, and Challenges” for the World Muslim Communities Council (an NGO headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) on March 20, 2021. Zhihong reviewed the history of the Muslim minority in the Chinese context and discussed the current challenges they face.
