The process that will lead to the appointment of the next President of Guilford College is under way. Our call for volunteers and nominations for the Advisory Board that will assist in reviewing presidential applications and report its views to the Selection Committee met with an overwhelming response.
Twenty-five members of the Advisory Board were selected for the totality of their life experiences and ability to assist us in this critical initiative. This diverse group will bring the views of a cross-section of the Guilford College community to this advisory process. We are pleased to share their names here:

The group first met virtually on Sunday, Feb. 28, and heard from our presidential search firm, AGB Search.
As you know, much of this work is necessarily confidential, but we will continue to report to the community as appropriate.
In the meantime, please know that we are supported by an Advisory Board that represents our community very well.
We also welcome thoughts and comments from our entire community. To make it easier for you to communicate to the Advisory Group, we will announce later this week a virtual portal where you will be able to register your opinions and insights.
