Guilford College Criminal Justice major Macaylee Eller '22, who is also a Creative Writing minor and an Honors Student, is part of Guilford's Elon Law Program, in which the College partners with Elon University Law School to create an accelerated pathway for undergraduate students interested in pursuing legal careers.
Macaylee met Visiting Professor of Criminal Justice Michael Costolo '11 as a newly admitted student at Spring Into Guilford, and that introduction led her to choose Guilford as her college home. Michael has served as Macaylee's adviser and mentor, and she says that faculty relationships are a big reason that so many students succeed at Guilford — and beyond. Watch the video to learn more about Macaylee's Guilford story and how the College has prepared her for the next steps in her future.
