Coming from a larger university to a smaller institution afforded me the opportunity to have more of an intimate learning environment with my professors and classmates in the Justice and Policy Studies Department. With supportive instructors and the specialized curriculum, it better prepared me to begin a successful career. I am proud to say I am an alumnae of Guilford College!"

“Guilford’s Criminal Justice master's program fundamentally changed me as a person. My knowledge has grown vastly, and I am proud of the work I have accomplished with the help of the graduate program professors. They were always there when I had a question and offered invaluable guidance throughout my thesis. The graduate program was one of the hardest things I have ever accomplished, but it was also the most rewarding.”

"My experience with the Guilford College Master of Criminal Justice program was life changing. The program has a unique way of challenging you while keeping you enthralled in the curriculum. The reading, writing, research, and analytical thinking skills I gained were paramount to my development as a criminal justice professional. I was able to work with students from various backgrounds to unpack critical issues in the criminal justice system. Several aspects of the program that drew my interest were the small class sizes, experience of the professors, the types of courses, and the availability of the professors and resources of the College. I enjoyed the program so much I decided to pursue a doctoral degree and teach within the program upon my graduation."
