Brooks Haworth to Retire as Associate Director of Alumni Relations
Brooks Haworth ’62 will retire as associate director of the Quaker Club and alumni relations Dec. 31, Vice President for Advancement Mike Poston announced Oct. 29.
He joined Guilford as assistant director of alumni relations in January 2003 and was named associate director with additional Quaker Club programming and fundraising duties in November 2006.
Haworth was employed as national accounts sales manager with Volvo Trucks North America from 1982 until his retirement in 2002. He was national accounts manager with Mack Trucks Inc. from 1972-82.
He is retiring from his Guilford post to spend more time with his wife, Gail, and children and grandchildren.
